Actor, director and writer Hansal Mehta who is spending his time with family in nearly complete isolation at his village took to his Twitter handle and expressed on the same.
He said, "I'm at a village in isolation. There are many people who have little or no food to eat. I'm doing my best within this microcosm by cooking extra meals and ensuring max number of people are fed here. The numbers must be huge elsewhere. I'm sure all who can are doing their best."
Earlier Hansal praising the Maharashtra CM shared a very emotional note on his Twitter Applauding his actions he wrote, "Am fast becoming a fan of the soft-spoken, amiable and pleasant Maharashtra CM. He addresses the state daily, at a decent hour, does not create fear, does not spread confusion, communicates clearly and inspires confidence."
The filmmaker is known for some of the most content drive iconic films, such as Shahid, City Lights, Aligarh, and Omerta. His next directorial is Chhalaang, which is a social black comedy starring Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha.
It is produced by Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan, Ankur Garg and Bhushan Kumar. The plot is set in a small town of Uttar Pradesh. It is set to release on 12 June 2020 worldwide.
