GloFans urges people to stay indoors amid coronavirus outbreak

New Delhi, March 24 (SocialNews.XYZ) Amid the coronavirus pandemic, international sports fans from twenty countries, largely, France, India, Muscat and Sri Lanka, have come together to urge people to stay at home and stay protected. In a first, the noble initiative has been taken by GloFans, an international digital platform for sports fans.

While the entire world is raising an appeal to avoid the massive spread of COVID-19, sports industry has been equally hit and sports fans are left with zero consumption of LIVE sports events on online and offline mode. To eradicate coronavirus with fighting together, here's what the sports fans are doing their bit to spread the awareness;

 

Sudhir Kumar Chaudhary, Sachin Tendulkar's biggest fan, appeals, "Sachin Sir defeated many opponents on the field, now it's time to defeat coronavirus off the field. Let's fight against coronavirus while staying inside our homes."

Gayan Senanayake, cricket fan from Sri Lanka, said: "Everyone please stay home, don't go outside, don't go for parties, stay inside to protect yours and others life. Stay home, be safe!".

Ram Babu, an ardent M.S. Dhoni fan, said: "Like we support the teams in unity, we need to stand for ourselves now and have to win this fight against coronavirus. Stay home and stay safe".

Prasad Coorg, a sports fan from Muscat, Oman said, "My appeal to everyone is that please don't panic. Stay at home and stay fit. Jai Hind".

Ramesh Bhavsar, a sports fan from France, said: "We are facing the lockdown since past week. We cannot go out and this is a pretty tough situation for fans. But we have to fight against it and this is the only way by which we can completely block the virus from spreading faster".

Pintoo Behera, a super fan of Virat Kohli, said "I request everyone to keep washing their hands in every 15 mins. Use hand sanitizers. Stay clean. Stay home and stay healthy".

Sugumar Kumar, another fan of Kohli, said: "My request to all is to stay inside and stay safe. We all will again untie together to cheer for our teams in unison but before that we have to fight against coronavirus with successful returns".

As per World Health Organisation, globally there have been 3,32,930 positive cases of coronavirus with 14,510 deaths.

The world is recording the worst economic slump due to global lockdowns and curfews. With Glofans unique initiative, the fan appeal is aimed at maximizing the reach of global message "Stay home, stay healthy" via international sports super fans.
