Director Ashutosh Gowariker thanks the fans for making his film 'Panipat' a huge hit on Netflix.
Watching content digitally is the new trend amongst the audience. Netflix, Amazon Prime and other digital apps are everyone's new favourite. Recently director Ashutosh Gowariker who has helmed cult films like 'Lagaan' and 'Swades' thanked the audience for making his film Panipat trend on Netflix for continuous one month.

He shared a poster of the film with his tweet which states that the film trending in the top ten on Netflix since 4 weeks and is still in the race!! The film was a disaster at the box office but people have been watching it on the digital medium Netflix.
'Panipat' film is based on the Third battle of Panipat which was faught in 1761. The film stars Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles.
The film was released theatrically on 6th December 2019 and is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and produced by Sunita Gowariker and Rohit Shelatkar.
