Actor Akansha Ranjan Kapoor who made her debut in the Netflix's original ‘Guilty’ said that she had no regrets in playing the bold character, Tanushree. In fact, she believes that her role has inspired lots of young girls and they want to be like Tanushree.
When asked does she has any regrets in playing the role of Tanushree, on this Akansha, said, “I have no regret in doing the role of Tanushree in the web series ‘Guilty’. I am getting lots of praise because I managed to do this role with everything Tanushree was. And working on the OTT platform was really exciting.”
When asked about people judging you for doing the bold character, on this Akansha said,” There is no point in judging my character. In fact, most of the girls messaged me and said that they are sorry for judging Tanushree character. Now they are saying that they want to be like Tanushree. I would also like to say that even I am feeling very confident after playing this role.”
‘Guilty’ the Netflix original produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment, has not only come in for sizeable praise but also sparked off conversations related to the #MeToo movement. The film released on Netflix on 9 March 2020. Kiara Advani and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor is seen in the lead roles in this film. The film is directed by Ruchi Narain.
