Bhopal, March 17 (SocialNews.XYZ) Amid the political turmoil in Madhya Pradesh, the government was busy in its regular functioning. Political appointments were taking place in the state and an administrative reshuffle was also going on.
In the last two days, the state government has appointed the chairpersons of several state commissions.
Shobha Ojha, state chief of the Congress party's media wing, has been appointed the Chairperson of the Women's Commission. Professor Alok Chansoria, said to be close to Kamal Nath, is the new Chairman of the Private University Commission. Former MP Anand Ahirwar has been appointed the Chairman of the State Scheduled Caste Commission, and Congress IT Cell's Abhay Tiwari is the Chairman of the Youth Welfare Commission.
The Kamal Nath government is also making new administrative appointments along with the political appointments. Additional Chief Secretary M. Gopal Reddy was made the Chief Secretary on Monday night. Reddy took over from Chief Secretary S.R. Mohanty, who has been made the Director General of the Academy of Administration and Management.
Similarly, other administrative officers and several Registrars of Universities were also being reshuffled.
