Scindia’s exit a result of Congress’ internal failure: BJP MP

New Delhi, March 12 (SocialNews.XYZ) A day after Congress loyalist Jyotiraditya Scindia joined the BJP, the ruling party MP Uday Pratap Singh on Thursday called his exit an "internal failure" of Congress and suggested that the party should "rather introspect than make allegations."

"Congress is a party which is run by a family... this is known across the country. There is no forum in the party where one can present one's case," Singh told IANS in Parliament premises.

"The internal failure of Congress has prompted well-known faces of the party to shift to other parties. The Congress should introspect rather than make allegations against others", said Uday Pratap Singh, who is a BJP MP from Hoshangabad in Madhya Pradesh.

Singh demanded resignation of Chief Minister Kamal Nath as he has lost majority. "As many as 22 MLAs have resigned. They have sent their resignation to the Speaker and Governor. They are uploading videos. Naturally, the government is in a minority. So he (Kamal Nath) should tender his resignation and take moral responsibility for the fiasco," Singh said.

Video clips of six rebel former ministers -- Tulsi Silawat, Govind Singh Rajput, Mahendra Singh Sisodia, Imarti Devi, Prabhuram Choudhary and Pradyumna Singh Tomar -- on Wednesday flooded social media and were being telecast by channels. The clips showed them saying that they have exited from the Congress on their own volition and that they continue to support Scindia.

Accusing the Congress of living in denial mode, Scindia on Wednesday joined the BJP at the party headquarters in the presence of party chief J.P. Nadda.
