Rajinikanth says he prefers to be the party president, and not the CM

Superstar Rajinikanth, in a closed door meet, has apparently revealed that he does not wish to be the chief minister candidate on behalf of his political party, Rajini Makkal Mandram. This did not go well with the party secretaries and they are discussing with Rajini about the same. The noted actor-turned-politician will be addressing the media today and make an affirmative statement.

Rajinikanth prefers to be the president of the party, rather than being the chief minister candidate.

Superstar says there will be two pivotal leaders in his party, while one is the party president, the other is the chief minister candidate. He wants to deduct the number of unnecessary positions in his party and select only educated and qualified youth for key positions.

A young, aspiring, and qualified leader will be announced as the chief minister candidate.
