New Delhi, March 11 (SocialNews.XYZ) Real Kashmir have appealed to the All India Football Federation (AIFF) about instances of unfair refereeing in their I-League match against East Bengal. Real Kashmir lost 1-0 in the match that was held on Sunday in Srinagar. The match saw three red cards and several yellow cards being shown by the referee.
In a mail sent to the federation on Wednesday, Real Kashmir pointed out four instances of what they saw as unfair refereeing during the match while attaching video footage of the same.
The first of these was the red card shown to local favourite Danish Farooq. "Red card is given inside the penalty box at the 37th minute, instead of a penalty wherein the video evidence conclusively proves that a foul was committed against Danish Farooq by QEB Jersey number 4, Johnny Acosta," the club said.
Defender Mason Robertson was shown a yellow card in the 25th minute of the match. "The video evidence conclusively proves that no contact was made between RKFC Jersey Number 3, Mason Robertson and QEB player Jersey number 15, Abhash Thapa," said the club.
The third instance it pointed out was when midfielder Armand Bazie was shown a yellow card in the 54th minute for a high foot. "In the video evidence attached, it can clearly and conclusively be seen that both RKFC Jersey Number 13 Armand Bazie and QEB Jersey Number 24, Victor Perez Alonzo had high boots at the same time," Real Kashmir said.
Finally, the club protested the referee taking no action against East Bengal forward Jaime Santos for allegedly kicking their midfielder Chestorpoul Lyngdoh.
