Bhopal, March 11 (SocialNews.XYZ) The BJP has added to the anxiety of the beleaguered Kamal Nath government in Madhya Pradesh by releasing audios clips of six rebel former ministers who asserted they had left the Congress of their own volition and continued to support Jyotiraditya Scindia who has joined the BJP.
These clips have countered the state government's claim that the Scindia camp's ministers were made to sign their resignations fraudulently and were seeking help.
Video clips of Tulsi Silawat, Govind Singh Rajput, Mahendra Singh Sisodia, Imarti Devi, Prabhuram Choudhary and Pradyumna Singh Tomar on Wednesday flooded social media, and were being telecast by TV channels.
These former ministers along with other MLAs are staying in hotels in Bengaluru for two days. In all 22 MLAs, including ex-ministers mostly of the Scindia camp, have revolted against the state government.
The clips went viral minutes after Scindia joined the BJP in Delhi indicating that the coup against the Kamal Nath government was planned meticulously.
Former Labour Minister Mahendra Singh Sisodia said, "Jyotiraditya Scindia has not indulged in betrayal. Rather the Congress and Kamal Nathji have betrayed him. Congress came to power in MP after 15 years due to hard labour put in by Scindia," he said.
"Scindia and his people were neglected saying that the coffers were empty. In contrast, Rs 12,000 crore was put in Chhindwara constituency (of Kamal Nath). Are other MLAs and ministers worthless?" he added.
"Is this not our neglect? Is this not the betrayal of people of MP? In the run up to the Assembly polls in November 2018, Congress announced farm loan waiver in 10 days which has still not happened. People ask us about the loan waiver. What was going on in the Vyapam scam - an admission and recruitment racket. Is the government colluding with the accused? We will go where Jyotiraditya Scindia goes. We are united. The day is not far when the Congress will be decimated in MP," he said.
Madhya Pradesh School Education Minister Prabhuram Choudhary is heard saying that "we all 22 MLAs are one today and will remain united tomorrow. We have resigned willingly."
Ex-Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput, Women and Child Development Minister Imarti Devi and Food and Civil Supplies Minister Pradyumna Singh Tomar also echoed the unconditional support to Scindia.
