​Meet Diana Rustam Irani From Maska, Played By Manisha Koirala

Actress Manisha Koirala will be seen in the role of an archetypal Parsi mother in the Netflix original film Maska. The actress drops back to back two new posters on her social media profile.

The first look of her character, named Diana Rustam Irani from Maska was released on Friday.

Manish shared the first poster with caption, “Super excited to play Diana Rustam Irani in #maska hope you’ll give her the love @netflix_in coming in month”

She captioned the second, “How do I look in my new role? Tell the truth, #Maska ni maro ni. @netflixfilm @netflix_in”

Manish Koirala will be seen playing an aged Irani woman, who is troubled by her son and trying to safeguard her Irani Cafe and restaurants as she wants to carry on her husband’s legacy.

The official handle of Netflix India also shared the same, they captioned it, “Here's something to brighten your day: Manisha Koirala in Maska #Maska”

The film, also starring Prit Kamani, Shirley Setia and Nikita Dutta, is a coming-of-age story that promises to take the audience through a journey to understand the difference between dreams and delusions. Maska is slated to release on Netflix in March.

Manisha Koirala’s last noted outing was Prasthanam (2019 film) Hindi remake of the political thriller with same title, in which she played as Sanjay Dutt's wife.

She will next star in AR Rahman's romantic musical 99 Songs, and in a Comedy American film India, Sweets and Spices, directed by Geeta Malik.
