Scoob, the highly anticipated movie, which serves as an origin story, is the first animated full-length feature from the long-running franchise to hit the big screen and the makers are out with second trailer.
The film features the voices of Mark Wahlberg, Jason Isaacs, Gina Rodriguez, Zac Efron, Will Forte, Amanda Seyfried, Kiersey Clemons, Ken Jeong, Tracy Morgan, Simon Cowell and Frank Welker.
Scoob is directed by Tony Cervone from a screenplay is by Adam Sztykiel and Jack C. Donaldson, Derek Elliott, and Matt Lieberman.
Scoob! is set to reveal how lifelong friends Scooby and Shaggy first met and how they joined with young detectives Fred, Velma and Daphne to form the famous Mystery Inc.
Now, with hundreds of cases solved and adventures shared, Scooby and the gang face their biggest, most challenging mystery ever: a plot to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world. As they race to stop this global "dogpocalypse," the gang discovers that Scooby has a secret legacy and an epic destiny greater than anyone imagined.
The story is by Matt Lieberman and Eyal Podell, and Jonathon E. Stewart, based on characters created by Hanna-Barbera Productions. The project is produced by Pam Coats and Allison Abbate.
Scoob! is all set to hit theaters on May 15th, 2020.
