New Delhi, March 6 (SocialNews.XYZ) Usha International on Friday announced a tie-up with the Road Safety World Series 2020 as the "Associate Gold Sponsor". The series is a five-nation T20 cricket tournament which is aimed to drive road safety tips and create awareness and will be held in Pune and Mumbai from March 7 to March 22. The series will showcase legends from India, Australia, Sri Lanka, the West Indies and South Africa who will come together to support the road safety initiative.
As per the schedule, the 16-day tournament will feature 11 matches out of which two will be played at the Wankhede Stadium, four at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai and five at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune, including the final. As a part of the association, the Usha logo will be used in in-stadia branding.
Commenting on the collaboration, Komal Mehra, Head, Sports Initiatives and Associations, at Usha International, said, "Our associations and support for sports initiatives go a long way. It is a pleasure to see sports go beyond its usual boundaries and raise awareness on a much-needed social cause through these cricketing legends. Our belief in the power of sport and its influence in lifestyles is reaffirmed by this road safety initiative."
