Ace Director Anand L Rai's film 'Atrangi Re' starring Akshay Kumar, Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan filming has started today 5th Marach 2020.
The official page of T series announced this news with a tweet and sharing the picture of the clapboard, "The beginning of a new journey ! @AnandLRai's directorial #AtrangiRe starring @AkshayKumar, @DhanushKRaja & #Saraalikhan goes on floors today! Presented by @itsbhushankumar's @Tseries @cypploffical & #CapeOfGoodFilms, the film is written by #HimanshuSharma & an @arrahman musical. The film will be releasing on Valentine's weekend.
This will be the first time Akshay Kumar, Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan will be sharing screen. The actors shared the announcement on their respective social media handles a few days back with the picture of the trio where Akshay and Dhanush were seen kissing Sara. This raised the excitement amongst the fans for the film.
The film will star Sara in a double role with Akshay and Dhanush playing her love interests. It is rumoured that Akshay's role will be filmed in Bihar and Dhanush's in Madurai.
On the professional front, Akshay Kumar will now be seen in Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi . Sara will be soon seen in the remake of David Dhawan's Coolie No. 1 opposite Varun Dhawan. Dhanush's last Bollywood film was 'Raanjhana'.
Film Atrangi Re will be releasing on Valnetine's weekend 2021. The film has been presented by T Series, Colour Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films.
