Anees Bazmee in Rajasthan For Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2

Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan starring Bhool Bhulaiyaa was helmed by Priyadarshan in 2007, the film received universal critical acclaim and was also a huge commercial success and now the filmmaker Anees Bazmee has been roped in for the second instalment, who is in Rajasthan prepping to kick-start the shooting.

Filmmaker Anees Bazmee just took to his social media profile and shared candid stills from Jaipur, where the shooting with kick-off for the film. He captioned it, “We are all set to begin the shoot in Jaipur...#BhoolBhulaiyaa2”

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is co-produced by T-Series and directed by Anees Bazmee. It serves a spiritual sequel to the 2007 film Bhool Bhulaiyaa and stars Kartik Aaryan, Tabu, and Kiara Advani.

It was in 2007 when Akshay Kumar won our hearts, playing the psychiatrist who was summoned by a friend, played by Shiney Ahuja, to unravel mysterious happenings at his ancestral palace, which many claimed was haunted but it turned out that his wife, Vidya Balan, suffers from a split-personality disorder. The cast of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 have big shoes to fill.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kartik was last seen in Love Aaj Kal, which tanked at the box-office. The actor also got Dostana 2 in his kitty.

As for Kiara Advani, the actress is busy with Guilty, Laxmmi Bomb, Indoo Ki Jawani and Shershaah.
