Moscow, Feb 18 (SocialNews.XYZ) Finnish-Russian digital solutions provider Zyfra said on Tuesday that it has connected 9,000 computerised numerical control (CNC) machines worldwide, including in India, to its MDCplus real-time machine monitoring and manufacturing data collection systems.
A Zyfra releaes said that the projects have been implemented in Bulgaria, China, Finland, France, India, Romania, Turkey and Singapore.
"By 2021 we are looking at more than 15,000 MDCplus installations across the globe. This year, we have devoted a lot of time to R&D. We have introduced a powerful new solution for predictive analytics which can even predict a machine or tool breakage. This solution, which will work with MDCplus, will help our clients make discrete manufacturing more efficient," Zyfra General Manager Igor Bogachev said in a statement.
MDCplus is designed to track machine operation, personal productivity and progress of parts manufacturing, the statement said.
"It's tailored reports and charts can be used to eliminate unreasonable downtime, evaluate overall equipment efficiency and reduce production costs. On average, equipment monitoring increases production efficiency by 20 per cent," it said.
US consulting firm Frost & Sullivan has named Zyfra as the Entrepreneurial Company of the Year in 2018 among the artificial intelligence (AI)-based machine data monitoring solution for process industries.
"We are seeing high demand for digitalisation from companies in India, Turkey and France. These countries therefore have an opportunity to be the first in their regions to build a new economy and achieve results," Bogachev said.
India has become a key foreign market for Zyfra with more than 500 CNC machines connected to its MDCplus system in 2019, the company said.
"By 2021, the company is looking at more than 2,000 MDCplus installations in India," it added.
Zyfra has been facilitating industrial manufacturers in India with AI and IIoT-based solutions. In December last, the Odisha-based Earthmovers awarded Zyfra a contract to implement an "intelligent mine" solution at the Pakri Barwadih coal mining project in Jharkhand.
