Rajkummar Rao just took to his social media profile and confirmed the release dates of his forthcoming outing Roohi Afza, the film will now release on 5th June 2020.
Filmmaker Karan Johar and Dinesh Vijan recently swapped Gunjan Saxena, Angrezi Medium and Roohi Afza. The Irrfan Khan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer had their release dates confirmed but not the Rajkummar Rao starrer Roohi Afza.
Roohi Afzana is directed by Hardik Mehta and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner Maddock Films. The film tells the story of a ghost who abducts brides on their honeymoons. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on 17 April 2020 but now will hit the marquee on 5th June 2020.
Actor Rajkummar Rao just confirmed the release date on his social media profile. He tweeted, “It's going to be a hilariously-chilly ride! #RoohiAfzana will now take over the big screen on 5th June 2020 @janhvikapoor @fukravarun #DineshVijan @serialclicker811 @mriglamba @gautam.m1 @maddockfilms @officialjiocinema”
The film also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Varun Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Seema Pahwa, and Ronit Roy appear in supporting roles, and Shraddha Kapoor makes a special appearance.
Due to release shuffled, actor Irran Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starring Angrezi Medium will release on 13th March 2020. The Indian Air Force pilot biopic Gunjan Saxena will hit the cinema halls on 17th April and now Roohi Afza 5th June 2020.
