Washington, Feb 11 (SocialNews.XYZ) US President Donald Trump has taken his campaign to New Hampshire, amid the Democrat primaries in the state.
In his first rally since his acquittal in the Senate impeachment trial, Trump on Monday arrived accompanied by his daughter and senior adviser, Ivanka, and his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., reports Efe news.
The President celebrated his "complete and absolute total acquittal" with his supporters in a speech briefly interrupted by cries of "lock her up" from the crowd in a reference to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, whom Trump credited for an increase in his poll numbers.
Trump also referred to last week's State of the Union address to Congress, which ended with a gesture of disdain from Pelosi, who tore her copy of the speech the President had just delivered.
"I had somebody behind me who was mumbling terribly, mumbling," Trump said.
He also took the opportunity to present his children, calling them "good kids" and saying "they went through a lot with the hoax" in a reference to his impeachment.
"Did Don Jr. make a good speech?" he then said, to which the crowd responded with chants of "46" in an apparent reference to the number of Trump's successor.
Trump also made a reference to the candidates of the Democratic Party, which will hold its primaries in New Hampshire, a small state of just 1,3 million people that has been hosting this event since 1920, calling them all "weak".
Democrats are currently in middle of a process to choose the candidate who will face Trump in the presidential elections in November.
During the rally, the President read the lyrics of the song "The Snake" by Al Wilson, inspired by a poem of the same name by Oscar Brown, which tells the story of a woman who saves a snake from freezing to death only to be bitten by it after it recovers.
Trump had also read it his 2016 campaign as a warning against the dangers of immigration.
