Stunning and beautiful actress Kalki Koechlin who has been pregnant with a baby of her boyfriend Guy Hershberg, recently delivered a sweet little baby girl. She took to her social media to share a heartfelt post and revealed the name of her daughter, Sappho.
Kalki wrote, “Please welcome Sappho. Born 07/02/20. She just spent 9 month wrapped up like a momo in my uterus. Let's give her some space....Thank you for all the good wishes and positive energy pouring in. And respect to all the women who go through the intense and gruesome experience of birth, be it vaginal or c section, so many of whom are not given credit or support for the biggest challenges they face, but are expected to do it out of some kind of duty. The process takes a huge toll both psychological and physical and should have the backing of an entire community to truly heal.”

Kalki is noted for her stellar performances in movies like Dev D, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, That Girl in Yellow Boots, Ek Thi Daayan and the musical drama Gully Boy.
She won a National Film Award for her performance as a young woman with cerebral palsy in the coming of age drama Margarita with a Straw (2014). Koechlin made a transition to web content and appeared in a spate of successful web series. She drew particular praise for her portrayal of a lonely socialite in Prime Video's Made in Heaven and a self-styled godwoman in Netflix's Sacred Games.
