After wrapping Jayesbhai Jordaar actor Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are taking a break after a long and hectic year. The duo is off to vacations.
Actress Deepika dedicated the last year to her film Chhapaak, just took to her social media profile and shared her travel plans. She shared a picture of her passport along with Ranveer’s and wrote, “His & Hers...#vacation”
Looks like the duo – Deepika and Ranveer – will ring their Valentine’s Day at some exotic location. Post vacations the duo will kick-start the promotion of 83- The Film, in which they are not just acting but producing it as well.
Directed by Kabir Khan, '83 will chronicle India's win under Kapil's captainship, when the team defeated West Indies in the final to clinch their first-ever World Cup trophy in 1983.
The sports drama will also mark Deepika and Ranveer's on-screen reunion, who have previously collaborated on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's spectacle films. In the past, the two have worked together in larger-than-life movies such as Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat.
The film also stars an incredible ensemble of Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Jiiva and Sahil Khattar. The story narrates Dev's journey of life as well as how he became the captain of the India national cricket team and won the 1983 Cricket World Cup.
The film will be theatrically released in India on 10 April 2020, along with dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu languages.
