New Delhi, Jan 31 (SocialNews.XYZ) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Friday that he considered everyone as a family -- be it a Congress supporter or that of the BJP -- and that he never discriminated against people and always worked for their welfare.
"I am Delhi's Chief Minister. While some people have voted for me, some had voted for the BJP and the Congress. I never discriminated and worked for everyone. All the people in Delhi are my family," he said while addressing a public meeting in Chandni Chowk.
The AAP national convenor said that he was not asking people to switch party, but to vote for the AAP on February 8.
"I make all of you my family. I know how to maintain relationships. I never treated you differently because you supported the BJP or the Congress," he said.
Attacking Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Kejriwal said he came daily for rallies and "insulted" the people of Delhi by making baseless remarks.
"I want to tell Shah that abuse me as much as you want. But do not insult the students of the government schools. They are doing hardwork to bring fame to the city," Kejriwwal said.
He also reminded the people that the BJP had called him a "terrorist".
"Now you have to decide if I am a terrorist or your son. If you feel I am a terrorist, then press lotus (BJP's election symbol). If you feel I am your son, press broom (AAP's election symbol) on February 8," he said.
The 70-member Delhi Assembly will go to the polls on February 8, while the results will be declared on February 11.
