The film reunites Anubhav Sinha and Taapsee Pannu post Mulk. The forthcoming social drama, Thappad, is a social drama which explores gender dynamics in relationships. The trailer will be out tomorrow.

Anubhav Sinha's last film Article 15 was hailed by critics. The film, which talked about caste discrimination, was in fact taken as a weapon to fight caste prejudice in Punjab.
Taapsee Pannu-starrer Thappad is a women-centric film and which is why, the makers are releasing it on March 6, in the Women's Day week next year. The film also features actor Pavail Gulati.
