Former Miss World Manushi Chhillar is set to debut in Bollywood opposite Akshay Kumar in Prithviraj. Recently, she took to her social media to introduce her character Sanyogita from the film and also added that she is shooting for the song.
Manushi shared a candid still from the sets on her social media. She captioned it, “At every ‘step’, they’ve got my back. #SongShoot #Prithviraj”
Prithviraj is an upcoming historical- period drama that chronicles the life of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, which will be essayed by Akshay Kumar. Actress Manushi will be seen as Samyukta aka Sanyogita who is Chauhan’s wife.
Earlier, Manushi Chillar had shared a glimpse on Twitter from the film’s initiation puja. She captioned the photo as,” Feeling blessed #Prithviraj puja #Diwali2020 @akshaykumar #DrChandraprakashDwivedi @yrf @PrithvirajMovie.”
Apart from the leads, the film stars Sanjay Dutt, Manav Vij, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana and Sakshi Tanwar in important roles. Helmed by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Prithviraj is set for a Diwali release.
Prithviraj is an upcoming 2020 Indian Hindi-language historical period drama film directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Aditya Chopra under his production house Yash Raj Films. It is about the life of King Prithviraj Chauhan and stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role of Chauhan, while Manushi Chhillar (in her film debut) plays his wife Samyukta.
