Popular television actress Hina Khan is all set with her second film outing, Hacked, says the trailer response has been overwhelming and surprising on the sidelines of her recent media interaction.
Actress Hina Khan graced the 26th SOL Lions Gold Awards in Mumbai. The awards are annual accolades given by the Lions Club Mumbai to recognise the talents in the Film and Television Industry.
Talking about the Hacked trailer response, Hina said, “Such as warm welcome, we never thought that the trailer would be appreciated this much. It’s been five days since the trailer release and we’re still trending on YouTube. In fact the song is also trending and it’s been loved so much by the viewers. So right I am getting slightly nervous, the Friday fear, because I am not used to it but let’s see. Nervousness is there because of expectations, as people have really loved the trailer. It is well received.”
Hacked is a psychological thriller film directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Amar Thakkar and Krishna Bhatt under their banner Loneranger Productions. The film stars Hina Khan, Rohan Shah, Mohit Malhotra and Sid Makkar.
Hina Khan also expressed her desires to screen the trailer for Salman Khan, she said, “I am going to meet Salman Khan very soon and I will show him the trailer. And we will definitely talk about it.”
Talking about the award night and her win, Hina quipped, “This is sixth or seventh award for Best actor in Negative role. I’d always say that I did it for a very brief time (negative role) but people still love and appreciate that little time and my performance, my looks, so yeah, I thank you all.”
Hacked revolves around a boy's love for an older girl and how it turns into an obsession. The film is scheduled for theatrical release in India on 7 February 2020.
