​Bollywood Pour Tribute For Kobe Bryant, The Black Mamba

Akshay Kumar, Siddharth, Abhishek Bachchan, Lata Dutta, Anupam Kher along with many other B-town celebrities are shocked by Kobe Bryant’s sudden demise. Bollywood Biggies took to their social media and expressed their grief.

The retired N.B.A. star, 41, and his daughter Gianna were among nine people in a helicopter that crashed near Calabasas, Calif. A college baseball coach and his wife and daughter were also killed.

Superstar Akshay Kumar shared a picture of Kobe and his daughter, he captioned it, “Speechless, the world has lost a Legendary Athlete, R.I.P The #BlackMamba of Basketball, Kobe Bryant & his daughter, Gianna. What u have done for so many kids including my niece whom u inspired to play basketball every day of her childhood, may u both comfort each other in heaven”

Actress Lara Dutta Bhupathi also shared a picture to NBA star and wrote, “Heartbreaking to wake up to news like this. He had no clue who this basketball loving bollywood actress was, but he was warm, he was funny and he was inclusive. #RIPKobe #RIPGianna”

South actor Siddharth wrote, “#KobeBryant What a horrible tragedy. Transcendental sports legend. Gone too soon. Heartbreaking day”

Actor Abhishek Bachchan, who has been ardent fan of NBA, shared, “Noooooo! Shocked about Kobe! He was one of the greatest and such an inspiration. Absolutely gutted. RIP. Strength to his family. #KobeBryant just can’t believe it.”

Actor Anupam Kher shared, “Heroes come and go. But legends are forever!” Kobe Bryant #OmShanti”

Bryant was among the passengers travelling onboard the helicopter. Nine people died in the crash, including the pilot, said Alex Villanueva, the Los Angeles County sheriff, during a news conference.

The National Transportation Safety Board said it sent a team to California on Sunday evening.
