Writer, Professor, and Theatre Director Tahira Kashyap met several breast cancer survivors and celebrated her birthday with them. She being a cancer fighter elucidate the bitterness of positivity. She said that positivity doesn't comes easily in anyone's way. Sometimes one have to put lot of efforts and force to be positive.
Sharing her experience, Tahira said, "There are lot of people who get scared and feel bitter about their illness. There are always two perspective of living. Firstly, some people are full with negative moods and behaves irrationally. Even when someone like to console them, they feel like wacking them. Secondly, some people prefer to stay positive. They choose to look glass half full and not half empty. They cut the cod of negativity and live their life meaningfully. It all depend which route you want to opt.
I also know it's not that easy to be positive. There are even many sideffects of the treatment. When I was going through the treatment, i forced myself a lot to lead a positive Life, she added."
The meeting session was held on Thursday at a hospital in Mumbai, where Tahira shared the story of her battle with breast cancer with several women. her also cut a cake with the survivors.
Tahira Kashyap was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018.
