New Delhi, Jan 22 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Republic Day tableau of the UP government will exhibit the cultural and religious tourism and the 'Sarva Dharma Sama Bhav" theme.
The tableau will showcase glimpses Kashi's cultural heritage along the river Ganga, and also recreate the 'Sufiyana' character of Deva Sharif, located in the Barabanki district of UP.
The platform in the foreground of the tableau has been decorated with musical instruments, part of India's classical music. Below this is depicted the serene flow of the river Ganga along with the ever-flowing 'Sanatan culture' of the land with Kashi at its fulcrum.
The tableau comprises figurines of shehnai wizard Bharat Ratna Ustad Bismillah Khan, tabla maestro Pandit Samta Prasad (Gudai Maharaj) and Vidushi Girija Devi, luminaries who took the musical tradition of Kashi to a new zenith.
The artistes performing kathak will give the float a vibrant look. Behind them will be statues of Sant Kabir and Sant Ravidas, who gave a distinguished identity to the sant tradition of Kashi.
In the rear, will be a replica of famous Dewa Sharif of Barabanki, which will highlight the 'Sufiyana' character and composite culture of the state.
