After dropping a stunning and vibrant trailer of Love Aaj Kal, which went viral and racked up 40 Million hits on social media, the makers of film are out with an introductory poster of Raghu played by Kartik Aaryan and he is inspired by Salman Khan.
Like the pervious release, Love Aaj Kal also deals with two dimensional time zones; Kartik will be seen playing two different avatars, one being the modern day complicated Veer and the other one is Raghu, who is totally inspired by Salman Khan.
Actor Kartik Aaryan just dropped a new poster, which features him as Raghu and striking a pose, which was made famous by Salman Khan during Maine Pyaar Kiya days. He captioned it, “Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya...Meet my other half #Raghu...#Kal #1990...#LoveAajkal...#SaraAliKhan #ImtiazAli #DineshVijan @WeAreWSF @MaddockFilms @jiostudios @JioCinema @RelianceEnt @Shibasishsarkar @RandeepHooda @ipritamofficial @sonymusicindia @iamarushisharma”
On the poster, Kartik is donning a desi-look and striking a pose but his hands on his back. In the background, we can see another poster of Salman Khan, striking the same pose from his debut movie, Maine Pyaar Kiya.
Love Aaj Kal is directed by Imtiaz Ali and starring Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles. The film also features Randeep Hooda and Arushi Sharma in pivotal roles.
It is scheduled for cinema release in India on 14 February 2020 on Valentine's Day.
