RRR is an upcoming period action film written and directed by S. S. Rajamouli. It stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in the lead roles. The film earlier was slated for 30th July 2020, will now releases in October 2020.

It is a fictional story revolving around India's freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem who fought against the British Raj and the Nizam of Hyderabad, respectively. The movie's story is a fictional retelling of their lives during their self-imposed exile.
The movie has been made on a staggering budget of Rs 350-400 crore. Set in the 1920s, RRR will be a fictional story based on two legendary freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Koamaram Bheem.
Acting opposite Ram Charan will be Alia Bhatt, making RRR the Bollywood actor's debut not just in Telugu cinema but in the entire southern film industry.
It has also been revealed that British actor Daisy Edgar Jones, the movie will also have Tamil actor and director Samuthirakani playing a pivotal role.
RRR is being bankrolled by DVV Dhanayya under his banner DVV Entertainments. MM Keeravani is on board to compose the music. RRR is director SS Rajamouli’s first film after the massive success of the Baahubali films.
