Sankranthi releases, Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo are doing exceedingly well at the box office. Both the films are minting big bucks.
At the moment, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo has a slight edge over Sarileru Neekevvaru.
Going by the trade reports, both Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo will emerge as the biggest hits in the careers of Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun respectively.
Sarileru Neekevvaru banks on Anil Ravipudi's situational comedy and Mahesh Babu's star power. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is packed with family-oriented elements and has an insanely popular audio album. Trivikram's work for the latter deserves a special mention.
This has to be one of the best Sankranthi clashes ever, if not the best.
