Bollywood is riding high in its patriotic wave and movies made on the subject of India’s military or other combat endeavours is making much noise at money at the box office, now Dharma Productions pays an ode to brave Kargil war hero with Shershaah.
Marking the 35th Birthday of actor Sidharth Malhotra super special, the makers of Shershaah are out with three stunning new posters from the film along with release date confirmation.
The official handle of Dharma Productions dropped the poster on social media. They captioned it, “An ode to the brave journey of the Kargil War hero. Most of the posters show Sidharth, in the middle of action along with other soldiers, with a backdrop of war and explosion. He looks vigilante and tough, determined towards his mission as an Indian army-man.
Shershaah is a biopic of Kargil hero Captain Vikram Batra. The captain more popularly known by his code name Shershaah’ made for the secret mission was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra — India’s highest military award at an early age for his valour and actions in 1999 Kargil War.
Actress Kiara Advani will star opposite Sidharth in the movie. Sid will play a double role, where he will portray both Vikram Batra and his twin, Vishal Batra. The movie releases on 3rd March 2020.
