Debutante Alaya Furniturewala says that there is no rivalry with Sara Ali Khan and it’s a great thing she is being pitted with such an established actress on the sidelines of her recent media interaction.
Granddaughter of Kabir Bedi, daughter of Pooja Bedi, newbie actress Alaya F will soon make her big film debut with Jawaani Jaaneman. She will be seen playing the role of Saif Ali Khan’s daughter in film, a role which was previously offered to Sara but eventually went to Alaya.
Sara Ali Khan and Alaya have been pitted against each other, ever since and now the debutante reacts to the constant comparison. She said, “Not at all, Sara Ali Khan is already extremely successful and very good at what she does and so being petted against her is a great thing. I am grateful I got this film and I really cannot imagine any other film being my first film”
Actor Saif Ali Khan along with debutante Alaya Furniturewala and singer Jazzy B graced the Gallan Kardi song from Jawaani Jaaneman.
Talking about the response for the trailer, Alaya said, “I am overwhelmed with the response. The response has been great, and I been getting very positive messages and I am very thrilled to be part of this film.”
Alaya also added she is a big fan of Ranveer Singh. She said, “I am a big Ranveer Singh fan.”
Nitin Kakkar directorial Jawaani Jaaneman also stars Tabu, Kubbra Sait, Chunky Pandey, Kumud Mishra, Rameet Sandhu, Farida Jalal and Kiku Sharda. The film revolves around a care-free father coming to terms that there is more life when her estranged daughter comes looking for him after 20 odd years.
The film is set to release on 31 January 2020.
