Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta is making a comeback to his most loved genre, gangster action thriller with forthcoming multi starrer Mumbai Saga. The filmmaker just took to his social media profile and dropped an intense and intriguing first look working still of John Abraham.
The film is a gangster drama set in the eighties and the nineties. The story tells the changing face of Mumbai, how in eighties and the nineties mills were closed to make malls and high rise buildings.
Director Sanjay Gupta dropped the still on his Twitter profile. He captioned it, “One of my favourite moments from MUMBAI SAGA. And of course Mr. Abraham like never before.”
In the new still, John is looking intense, while sitting in chair, crossed legged and dead set expression on his face. The actor is also sporting gold jewellery and tilak on his forehead.
Mumbai Saga is an action crime film starring ensemble cast of John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi, Kajal Aggarwal, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Gulshan Grover, Rohit Roy, Sharman Joshi, Pankaj Tripathi, Samir Soni and Amole Gupte.
Directed by Sanjay Gupta and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anuradha Gupta and Sangeeta Ahir. The film is slated for 19th June 2020 release.
Interestingly actor John Abraham has three massive releases in 2020 - Mumbai Saga (June 19), Attack (August 14) and Satyameva Jayate 2 (October 2).
