Summary - Based on the real episode of 2005, when a spurned suitor tossed acid on the face of 15-year old Laxmi Agarwal, scarring her forever, 'Chhapaak' is a delighting story of the triumph of the human soul. Deepika Padukone who plays the 19-year-old Malti Agarwal, a joyful girl with an aspiration of turning a singing artist, truly gets under the skin of her character. As a young woman from a lower white-collar class family, who thinks ambitiously, she is easily ready to grandstand the flush of first love just as the stun and ghastliness after observing her scarred reflection without precedent for the mirror.

What's About - The film starts with the 2012 Nirbhaya assault case and how everybody in Delhi is battling for equity yet nobody is thinking much about acid assault survivors and their battle. You get acquainted with Malti (Deepika Padukone) who is attempting her level best to carry equity to each acid assault unfortunate casualty in the province. Next up, she meets Amol who not just extends to her an employment opportunity at his NGO yet also causes her at each phase of her unsavory life. The story follows two parallel courses of events that continue hopping between Malti's present and her terrible past. Fifteen minutes into the film and you get the chance to see a look at the upsetting acid assault episode on Malti. What follows next is Malti's battle for equity and how she figures out how to get over the horrendous episode with her certainty, cheerful mood and assurance.

Analysis - Composed by Atika Chohan and Meghna Gulzar, Chhapaak figures out how to adhere on to your seats. Meghna Gulzar's portrayal of the shockingly hard-hitting reality that makes us experience the situation of an acid attack injured person and the torment and enduring they go is delicately told with reminiscent sympathy and profoundly influencing truthfulness and beauty. Doesn't settle on any high pitch drama, keeps it unpretentious and genuine. The reasonable view has an effect and that is practically similar to an epic. Apart from being a notice of triumph, this tragic film underlines the brutalities toward women, preferences, and integrity of the legal system. There is no avocation for such conduct according to humanity Yet, the legal executive/law has its inadequacy which neglects to comprehend the profundity of these deplorable crimes, and the guilty parties get bail effectively to go to marriages, and so forth.

Star Performances - Deepika effectively accomplishes an immense errand to keep up the harmony between showing the feelings and let her face do the talking. The character of Malti and the prosthetic required an actress who can standardize its intricate characteristics. Deepika Padukone hits those levels at specific focuses. Vikrant Massey gets a good character. He really attempts to fit in the story, yet there's no strong substance he could include during the significant lump of his screen-space. From the supporting cast, Madhurjeet Sarghi who plays the legal advisor is remarkable at what she does.

Direction & Music - Meghna Gulzar merits the greatest acclaim. She kept up an almost negligible difference with Deepika's distorted face, keeping it on an unbiased pallet, taking into account each crowd. Meghna effectively features what a woman experiences when peeled off her skin excellence and discovering her internal worth. The background score and songs by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy with lyrics composed by Gulzar were relatable and added to the deposition of the film. The titled track Chhapaak will advance toward your heart.

Overall - "Chhapaak" is invigorating and calming, so don't dodge this upsetting and convincing emotional drama. Deepika Padukone sparkles in a story that will pull you and jerk you from your usual range of familiarity and make you wonder about a person who experiences a debased, fierce act endure.
