Actress turned producer Chitrangda Singh who was last seen in the movie ‘Bazaar’ and who earlier made her production venture with the critically acclaimed 'Soorma', is all set to take the franchise further.
As per the reports, the actress-producer is getting ready to present a sequel to the film that will reportedly be inspired by a real-life hero and will be very strong on the emotion quotient.
A source close to the actress tells us, “Chitrangda has always been drawn to strong scripts and 'Soorma 2' is no different. She is now working in a very focussed way on locking in the rest of the details around the film, and it should be ready to go on the floor very soon.”
‘Soorma' revolved around the life of hockey legend Sandeep Singh and featured Diljit Dosanjh, Taapsee Pannu and Angad Bedi in lead roles.
‘Soorma’ biographical sports drama film based on the life of hockey player Sandeep. He is left paralyzed after a gunshot accidentally hits him. He decides to make a comeback to the sport and overcomes his disability to lead the Indian team to victory. It hit the theatres on 13 July 2018.
The movie got the mixed review for some it was boring, but for some it was a must watch movie.
