Akshay Kumar becomes the highest grossing actor of 2019.

In the year 2019 bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has rolled over the box office by giving back to back hits and has become the highest grossing actor of 2019. The year 2019 has been a phenomenal year for him with films like 'Kesari', 'Mission Mangal', 'Housefull 4' and ‘Good Newwz’ all managing to hit the bull's eye in the domestic circuit.
 
Akshay started 2019 with a bang. His movie 'Kesari' which released in March went on to earn Rs 151.87 crore Post the success of 'Kesari', Akshay collaborated with Vidya Balan and others to give the audience a space drama 'Mission Mangal' which too entered the 100 crore club with ease and ended its run at the box office with Rs 192.67 crore.
 
Apart from these two films Akshay also came out with the fourth instalment of his popular 'Housefull' franchise. The comic caper turned out to be one of the highest-earning films of 2019 as it raked in Rs 205.60 crore.

Akshay’s recently released movie ‘Good Newwz’ is unstoppable at box office and is receiving a rave reviews by the film critics. On sixth day the movie has strike up to Rs 115.75 crore. Akshay has managed to collect a total to Rs 665.89 crore at the box office till now and ended the last year of the decade with a smash.
 
After a good year in the domestic circuit, Akshay’s bucket list consist of films like ‘Sooryavanshi’, 'Laxmmi Bomb' and 'Prithviraj' which are all set to release in 2020.
