Summary - As the title 'Thambi' recommends and from what we had seen from the trailer, it was very much guaranteed that a brother-sister bonding will be the signature piece of this thriller. Including Karthi and Jyotika in lead jobs, the film has an outfit star-cast of Sathyaraj, Anson Paul, Nikila Vimal, Sowcar Janaki, Seetha, and barely any progressively unmistakable on-screen characters.

Story - Parvathy (Jyothika), an elder little girl of an honest politician named Gnanamurthy, is as yet reeling under the melancholy of being irritated from her sibling Saravanan, who disappeared 15 years prior. Nonetheless, one fine day, Gnanamoorthy becomes acquainted with about an adolescent named Vicky, who professes to be his tragically deceased son. What happens rest has been described in Thambi.

Analysis - The main portion of Thambi is for the most part nonexclusive with just a couple of flashes of guarantee. Adding more to that is the less fascinating romance among Saravanan and his female companion (Nikhila Vimal). In any case, the film collects some consideration at the interim point, where we get the chance to see another side of the most unassuming character in the account. The moderate first half is repaid by the turns in the subsequent half. We get the opportunity to see a few dangers to the hero, as he reveals the double-dealing he's gotten himself into. There is even an average distraction tossed into the procedures. But these minutes are not many and far in the middle. The screenplay pulls off an astounding turn that some way or other rescues the film.

Star Performances - Karthi is essentially staggering in his job as a fraudster, who arrives in a camouflage. Indeed, it is he who drives the movie forward in the main half with some shocking hilarious scenes, raised to another level with minute articulations. Jyothika as Parvathy adds the ideal force to the character and the brother-sister chemistry has turned out quite well. Nikhila Vimal as Sanjana also has an effect. Sathyaraj is dazzling with his colossal screen nearness and developed execution. Anson Paul looks entirely great as a cop and has set up an unwavering presentation. Hareesh Peradi, Bala, Sowcar Janaki, and others have also worked superbly.

Direction, Music, Cinematography - Jeethu Joseph's Direction is reasonable. His decision of subject after Paapanasam isn't excessively clever. The essential plot appears to be a Hollywood film. Likewise, he leaves such numerous inquiries unanswered. In any case, shockingly, it must be said that he has been effectively ready to keep the crowd engaged. Additionally, the component of curiosity in the tale of a eunuch keeps the watchers' interest alive. Govind Vasantha's music merits extraordinary notice and the background score looks excessively great as it suite the film's temperament. RD Rajasekhar's cinematography is mind-blowing. Editing is also fine despite the fact that it felts like there are a couple of last details in the first half.

Verdict - Thambi has thrill minutes that will astound us significantly, however, are exceptionally constrained thus happens to be the bonding among Karthi and Jyotika characters. As referenced before, had the writers set up scarcely few more endeavors into these components, then the movie would have been a substantially more excellent one.
