Story - Sivakarthikeyan assumes the role of Sakthi, a man who, as a child wished to turn into a superhuman like Shaktimaan, however, a minor mishap subdues those fantasies, and he winds up beginning a printing press for making counterfeit endorsements and degrees. He turns vigilante hero after an individual catastrophe and that turns his life around totally. This is one of the not many hero films in Tamil Cinema, however, whether it is agreeable is an inquiry that is left unanswered. The film begins on an easygoing note, at that point abruptly turns out to be intense and this tonal move sets aside some effort to adjust.
Analysis — In Hero, PS Mithran takes on the training and educational system in India and how the students are abused by the corporate. The film has a Shankar touch to it, as far as story and the screenplay, and there is a reference to Shankar's super hit film Gentleman. Script has a ton of escape clauses and there are times when it's difficult to stay away from them yet to everything comes down to the action and emotional sequences.
Direction, Cinematography, Music — PS Mithran shock big time with this one; there may be imperfections in the content yet course insightful Mithran figures out how to keep the rush alive. He investigates every possibility in regard to causing the on-screen characters to perform. In regard to camera edges yet, at last, this one is a delightful looking film. Perhaps the greatest positive is the manner in which Hero has been shot and the credit goes to George C Williams. The lighting is great, and the interim fight including Arjun and Sivakarthikeyan stands apart due to his work. Yuvan Shankar Raja's songs and BGM neglected to raise the significant minutes.
Star Performances - In the first place our one of a kind Namma Veetu Pillai Sivakarthikeyan has done an awesome job in the film. The significant exertion was placed in by Action King Arjun. He assumes a special and important job in the film. Arjun's job is an all-encompassing rendition of his notorious character in Shankar's Gentleman. He is a vigilante taking on the appearance of a teacher who doesn't have confidence in reading material educating. Especially, his flashback partitions make a truly necessary effect on the narrative of Hero. The baddie Abhay Deol anyway gives a decent exhibition in the film. Kalyani Priyadarshan enters Tamil Cinema through this film, and her job looks encouraging toward the beginning yet is underused.
Verdict — Hero by PS Mithran is an endeavor to move the person out of unresponsiveness and requests that we channelize our indignation the correct way. It doesn't succeed altogether, yet Mithran's new take on the wearied superhuman sort merits a watch.
