After dropping a mind blowing trailer, the makers of Street Dancer 3D are out with first song, Muqabla from the film, which is an recreated version of hit song featuring Prabhudeva.
Actress Shraddha Kapoor dropped the first party number from the musical drama on her social media profile. She captioned it, “He is here to show you his moves! Setting the stage on fire, the battle has begun! #Muqabla out now #StreetDancer3D @Varun_dvn @Norafatehi @PDdancing @remodsouza @Lizelle1238 @itsBhushanKumar @iamDivyaKhosla @TSeries @streetdancer_”
The song sees Prabhudeva perform the hook step of the iconic song and Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi, lead actors of the film, follow his step. The original song was composed by AR Rahman. The new Muqabla has been recreated by Tanishk Bagchi.
The film talks about cross-border dance battle and when asked Varun about the message in the film, he said, “I would like to definitely say that our film is out peace and humanity. The director my film is a Christina Gujarati, the hero (Varun) is a Punjabi, the heroin is (Shraddha) is a Punjabi Marathi, we have Gujarati, Marathi, Sikh, Muslim and Moroccan in our film. We have people from India, Nepal and Morocco. We have people from all religion coming together and working on giving a peaceful message. Dance can also be used for peace.”
Street Dancer 3D is directed by Remo D'Souza, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Lizelle D'Souza.
The film also stars Nora Fatehi, Murli Sharma, Punit Pathak, Dharmesh Yelande, Caroline Wilde, Aparshakti Khurana, Sonam Bajwa, Raghav Juyal and more.
It is scheduled for a theatrical release in India on 24 January 2020.
