Indian brides turn to new treatment for glowing skin

New Delhi, Dec 20 (SocialNews.XYZ) With extremely bad pollution taking a toll on everyones skin, PRP treatment, which uses the body's own ability to heal and rejuvenate, is becoming one of the most popular skin treatments among the brides-to-be this year, trends indicate.

Ditching the conventional skin treatments, brides seem to be opting for medically approved and more effective skin treatments like Platelet Rich Plasma or PRP Forte to ensure youthful and radiant skin on their wedding day.

The treatment offers a medically-certified, non-invasive and natural solution for reducing scars, dark spots, dullness, ageing, and effects of sun damage. This process, which guarantees flawless, healthy and glowing skin as per experts, is catching up fast among Indian youth, especially brides, who want to look perfect on their D-day.

"To perform PRP treatment, we first take some blood from the patient's body and centrifuge it to separate the platelets. These platelets, which are so beneficial for the skin are also called liquid gold and contain 5-7 times enriched platelets concentration, fibrin and growth factors for maximum benefits. They are then injected on the face using specialized needles. To eliminate the chances of pain and discomfort, the procedure is done after applying local anaesthesia. We have developed special PRP Forte which gives the best results," says Aarushi Passi Bhandari, a cosmetic dermatologist and functional medicine specialist at Daivam Wellness.

Taking advantage of the incredible benefits of platelet-rich-plasma, already present in our bodies, the PRP treatment helps to achieve flawless and glowing skin naturally.

Another city-based cosmetic surgeon Ajaya Kashyap, Medical Director, KAS Medical Centre and MedSpa said, "We have observed the demand for Stem Cell-based cosmetic treatment has gone up, The latest modification of this treatment involves adding stem cells and antioxidants to the PRP, which greatly enhances the results. When the PRP is done with stem cells and antioxidants, it is very effective as one-time treatment and effects can last longer."

The specialised needles, known as a micro-needling pen, penetrates slightly into the skin which helps PRP to reach underneath the upper layer of the skin. The Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) stimulates skin rejuvenation leading a supple and clear face. The minor injuries caused by micro-needling, in fact, further stimulate deep collagen production, which eventually prompts healing and skin rejuvenation. Since the patient's blood is used in the treatment, the chances of infection or allergy are low.

Elaborating the procedure, Aarushi says, "We have seen that demand for this treatment has gone up especially among young women and the brides-to-be. They come to us almost a month before their wedding day for perfect skin and hair.

The effects of PRP treatment on the face start becoming very apparent within a week. As the newly-created collagen starts improving the overall health of facial skin, the patient starts noticing a fresher and youthful skin.

Along with the skin, PRP treatment is also becoming a popular non-surgical solution for reducing hair fall. As the wedding season has already gripped families into celebrations, the brides and grooms are surely going the extra mile to look just perfect on their special day. And when it comes to their skin and hair, they clearly want the best.
