Shooting for ‘Ranjhana’ was the difficult day of my career, says Hina Khan.

Television and film actress Hina Khan is excited about her recently released music video ‘Raanjhana’, says that, shooting for ‘Raanjhana’ was the difficult day of her career. She further added that it was a desert sequence, she and Priyank Sharma (co-star) got blisters on their feet as they were asked to walk bare feet in sun on the sand. The temperature being 50 degrees was too unbearable for them.

Hina Khan was interacting with the media at the screening of her music video ‘Raanjhana’ on Thursday in Mumbai.

The track ‘Raanjhana’ is a typical Bollywood tragic love story and it’s based on honor killing. It is Hina Khan and Priyank Sharma’s first music video together. The song crossed 2 millions views in just 7 hours.

When asked about her experience shooting the video, Hina said, “The whole unit was injured very badly, especially me and Priyank. We both got blisters on our feet, as we were asked to walk bare feet in sun on the sand. The temperature being 50 degrees was too unbearable for us.

Though it was a very difficult shoot I have experienced in my whole career, I was satisfied after watching the visuals of the sand part. I must say it was worth shooting the song at such a high temperature.”

Talking about the response of the song, Hina said, “The song has crossed 2 millions views in just 7 hours, it’s a good start. I am happy people are loving the song so much. It feels good when people instead of messages send voice notes. This shows that how much they applaud your work. Not only this, even twitter is flooded with messages and comments.”

Hina Khan and Priyank Sharma's music video ‘Raanjhana’ released on Thursday 12 December. It is sung by Arijit Singh, penned by Raqueeb Alam and composed by Asad Khan.
