Mumbai: Reliance hospitals rare TPVR procedure on oldest patient #Gallery

Mumbai: The Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital (HNRFH) in Mumbai has performed a Transcatheter Pulmonary Valve Replacement procedure - a non-surgical way to replace a diseased valve - on a 76-year old woman patient. The patient, Jyotsna Gujarati, was born with a hole in the heart and narrowing of pulmonary valve, led an asymptomatic lilfe till 30 years after which she started experiencing breathlessness and fatigue.
