Actor Akshay Kumar is collaborating with hit filmmaker Rohit Shetty for the first time for Sooryavanshi, the third and independent movie from cop universe, which the director has created for the decade.
The actor has wrapped up the shooting for the film and shares his incredible experience working with Golmaal director.
Akshay took to his social media profile and announced the wrap up of the film. This is the fourth film of Rohit Shetty's cop universe. He directed the first film, Singham, starring Ajay Devgn, in 2011. After that, he came up with Singham Returns in 2014. The film again starred Ajay Devgn with Kareena Kapoor Khan.
In 2018, Rohit delivered a blockbuster with Ranveer Singh with Simmba. Both Ajay and Ranveer will have a cameo in Sooryavanshi. The film also stars Katrina Kaif in the lead role.
Akshay Kumar will be seen playing DCP Veer Sooryavanshi, the chief of the Anti-Terrorism Squad. The film releases on 27th March 2020.
