The first look poster of actress Janhvi Kapoor from the forthcoming anthology ‘Ghost Stories’ is out. The film streams on New Year’s Eve on Netflix.
The joint collaboration of filmmakers such as Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee and Anurag Kashyap, Ghost Stories, will go live on Netflix on January 1, 2020.
Sharing the first look of Janhvi Kapoor, the official handle of Netflix India wrote, “Who knew that the beginning of the year would give us a scare? We're screaming all the way till 1st January 2020.”
Actress Janhvi Kapoor also took to her social media profile and dropped her first and a video, expressing her excitement about the project. She captioned it, “I'll be bringing the winter chill to your spine on January 1st 2020 only on Netflix. Four thrilling stories coming your way! #GhostStories”
In the video, the young and talented actress Janhvi is seen saying, “The news is finally out, start your New Year with a scream because my film with Zoya Akhtar’s Ghost Stories will be streaming exclusively on Netflix at 12 o’clock sharp at midnight on 1st of January”
The film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Avinash Tewari, Gulshan Devaiah, Kusha Kapila, Sobhita Dhulipala, Surekha Sikri, Sukant Goel, and Vijay Verma in pivotal roles.
Just like "Lust Stories", "Ghost Stories" is an Indian anthology film consisting of four short films. It is the third collaboration, after "Love Per Square Foot" and "Lust Stories" for Netfix and RSVP.
Janhvi Kapoor is also busy prepping for roles in Roohi Afza, Dostana 2 and Gunjan Saxena Biopic.
