Hollywood veteran Al Pacino will now be hunting Nazis in America in a new Amazon Prime TV series titled Hunters, a 10-episode series that will premiere in 2020.
The series is based on real events and features Pacino as an older Jewish man who chases down Nazi officials who fled Germany. The project, produced by Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Sonar Entertainment, was created by David Weil (Moonfall), who wrote and executive produced the series.
The series follows a diverse band of Nazi Hunters living in 1977 New York City. The Hunters, as they’re known, have discovered that hundreds of high ranking Nazi officials are living among us and conspiring to create a Fourth Reich in the US.
The eclectic team of Hunters will set out on a bloody quest to bring the Nazis to justice and thwart their new genocidal plans.
The series also stars Logan Lerman, Kate Mulvany, Tiffany Boone, Carol Kane, Saul Rubinek, Josh Radnor, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Jerrika Hinton, Greg Austin, Dylan Baker and Lena Olin.
Hunters is an upcoming American drama web television series, created by David Weil, that is set to premiere in 2020 on Amazon Video.
