Superstar Kangana Ranaut starring biopic of former chief minister of Tamil Nadu, Jayalalitha, is titled Thalaivi and its first official teaser is out.
Thalaivi is helmed by AL Vijay and jointly produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shaailesh R Singh. Thalaivi will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. In a surprise announcement, the makers of Thalaivi released the film's first look poster and teaser of Kangana Ranaut-starrer.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh dropped the deeds on the film. He tweeted, “First glimpse of #Jayalalitha biopic...Kangana Ranaut in #Thalaivi... Directed by Vijay... Produced by Vishnu Induri and Shaailesh R Singh... 26 June 2020 release. #ThalaiviFirstLook”
In the teaser, Kangana is seen recreating a popular song of Jayalalitha's and soon she is shown as the political giant, who is addressing a huge audience.
Kangana is one of the biggest stars in India today and with her new avatar, she is definitely going to rule the box-office. Her physical transformation for the role is remarkable.
Thalaivi has Kangana Ranaut playing the role of Jayalalithaa and Arvind Swami reprising the role of later actor-politician MG Ramachandran aka MGR. The rest of the cast and crew of Thalaivi will be announced soon.
