What's About - Kettiyollaanu Ente Maalakha's valid statement is the film keeps up the balance between going disgusting and clarifying something adult. Sleevachan (Asif Ali) is a 35-year-old farmer who hails from a small community. He was raised by his mom and four sisters who love him beyond a reasonable doubt. Being an incredibly timid and underconfident man, Sleevachan has never truly thought of getting a life partner. However, he at long last gets hitched to the city-reared Rincy (Veena Nandakumar), just to satisfy the obligations towards his unwell mother. But the issues emerge after Sleevachan and Rincy neglect to consummate their marriage. After a specific occurrence, their life changes and that prompts the basic plot of this courageous satire film.
Analysis - The film holds on 4 pillars – the idea, the exhibitions, the writing and Nissam Basheer. A family show dependent on conjual attack dependent on the plot after a wedding – this is something which would've been dismissed a couple of years back. Because of filmakers like Nissan Basheer who aren't reluctant to investigate the spots never been visited. Truly! The latter half has come cliches yet once you beginning making out with your adored one you can't whine of some botched chances.
Actor's Performances - Indication of an incredible actor is being misjudged significantly in the wake of giving some important exhibitions. This shows people anticipate more from you. This doesn't mean they don't know you're an extraordinary actor, this implies you could be the best. Kakshi Amminipilla, Underworld and now this, Asif Ali is exclusive who experience every one of his characters without limit. It would be putting it mildly to state he was splendid in the film. Veena Nandakumar spreads her enchantment from the first frame. She looks as sweet as her accent in the film.
This is one such film which depends on each every supporting character. From Asif Alis' friends and family members to Veena's family and relatives – everybody sparkles. As commonly said, a film is never about performances by leads, it’s all about performances by the people apart from the leads. This film falls into that ideal zone. Basil Joseph Jaffer Idukky, Rony David, Manohari Joy, Raveendran etc have played their parts well.
Technical Side - The film is vivid which adds to the vibe great factor of the film. Nissan has caught some genuine middle class family crossroads which no other filmakers has been able to do till now. At any minute the film could've hopped to the opposite side and be a sex comedy, however it's the grip over the script by Aji Thankam and Nissam that saves the film huge time.Kettiyolaanu Ente Malakha has some good visuals by cinematographer AbhilashShankar. Noufal Abdulla's successful editing makes the movie a drawing in watch. The songs by William Francis are great. Background Score is great and suits well with the narrative.
Verdict - Kettiyollaanu Ente Maalakha is binded alongside making you lots of laugh, will make you think. It handles a subject which everybody has known about however not very many discussion about.
