Panaji, Nov 18 (SocialNews.XYZ) The cinema chain INOX Leisure Ltd (INOX) completes 15 years of association with the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), held every year in Goa.
INOX has been hosting the screening of the films since 2004, ever since Goa became the venue.
The multiplex chain has now dedicated its exhibition property at Porvorim as a second venue for festival screenings in addition to the original four-screen multiplex at Panaji.
"The 50th edition of the film festival is going to be bigger and better. There are more than 200 films this year and few films will have multiple screenings. We are happy to get an additional location with additional screens from INOX this year at Porvorim," said Amit Satija, Chief Executive Officer, Entertainment Society of Goa.
Siddharth Jain, Director, INOX Group, said: "An opportunity to host the finest film personalities and industry stalwarts at our premises makes our role one to cherish as an exhibitor. Also, hosting thousands of aspiring film industry professionals in our premises and watching them learn from stalwarts, gives us a sense of fulfilment as the future of the film industry gets honed at INOX."
