Anurag Basu directorial untitled romantic drama starring Abhishek Bachchan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Rajkummar Rao and Pankaj Tripathi, was earlier slated to hit screens on January 24, 2020 but now the film will release on 13th March next year.
This is not the first time the release date of the film has been postponed. Earlier it was set to be released on September 6, which was later changed to January 2020. Major portions of the film with Abhishek Bachchan were shot in Mumbai and Kolkata in 2018.
Trade Analyst Komal Nahta confirmed the new release dates on his Twitter profile. He wrote, “Director Anurag Basu's untitled action comedy will release on 13March2020. Starring AbhishekBachchan, AdityaRoyKapur, RajkumarRao, FatimaSanaShaikh, SanyaMalhotra and PankajTripathi, it is produced by BhushanKumar, DivyaKhoslaKumar, AnuragBasu, TaniSomaritaBasu and KrishanKumar”
Rajkummar Rao also took to social media to share his pictures from their Bhopal shoot. The actors were in the city for a 15-day schedule in January, this year. The film will have four short films with different actors. In one of the features, Fatima Sana Shaikh will be seen opposite Rajkummar Rao.
The untitled film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Tani Somarita Basu and Krishan Kumar.
