The makers of Mardaani 2 are out with the first official trailer of the film, starring Rani Mukerji as Shivani Roy, and she is a force to reckon with!

The fierce and determined cop Shivani Roy played by Rani Mukerji is faced with a serial rapist in a small town of Kota in Rajasthan. According to maker’s the story of the film is inspired from true events.
Mardaani 2 is based in Kota, Rajasthan, a town where students from all over the country come to take IIT-JEE coaching. The trailer starts with a girl taking lift from a guy. He rapes her and then brutally murders her. Shivani Roy, who has been assigned to nab the rapist, vows to arrest the serial rapist. This is followed by a cat-and-mouse-chase between the villain and the film's protagonist.
Mardaani 2 is directed by Gopi Puthran and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. The story follows Shivani who goes up against a 21-year-old villain (played by Vishal Jethwa).
Mardaani 2 is set to be theatrically released in India on 13 December 2019.
