Actress Sanya Malhotra and Vidya Balan pays tribute to human computer Shakuntala Devi on her 90th Birth Anniversary.

Sanya Malhotra and Vidya Balan are sharing screen space for the first time in forthcoming biopic based on Shakuntala Devi and her life. The film is directed and written by Anu Menon and produced by Vikram Malhotra under his banner Abundantia Entertainment.

Actress Sanya Malhotra took to her social media and wished the genius lady by sharing her picture. She captioned it, “#ShakuntalaDevi was phenomenal in every sense of the word! The film stars Vidya Balan as Shakuntala Devi, a mental calculator who was known as the "human computer".

Shakuntala Devi Aka Human-Computer was born on November 4, 1929, in Mysore. When she was 3-year-old, her father noticed her extraordinary ability to memorise numbers. On October 5, 1950, in an interview on a television show, Shakuntala Devi solved complex maths problems within seconds. The answers were correct and then onwards she became known as Human-Computer.

The film is scheduled to be theatrically released in India in 2020.
